Dear All
At the risk of annoying you further with yet another email, I write with two purposes:
Firstly, to emphasise the point Alan raised (see his posting below) about to whom messages go.
Please try to remember that messages sent to LDHEN go to the whole list. When replying to a message, if what you want to say only needs to go to one other member, take care not to just hit the "reply" button if the original message was to all of us! I know I am guilty of doing this myself - and I also know how tetchy I can get when my in-tray seems to fill up with information I could do without!
So thanks to Alan for that reminder.
Secondly, can I ask you to let me know as soon as you can if you will be able to attend the conference on 24th October in London, so that we can begin planning for room bookings etc. Do let other colleagues know about the event too. I'd also welcome any comments about the draft plans circulated at the weekend.
Best wishes for hygienic in-trays
John

Please could I propose that we contact the individual concerned (John, in
this case) rather than the whole list with responses to a message like this?
Best wishes
Alan

are able to receive any conference mailing we need to send by regular post,
please do check your address for errors (some are not complete) and let me
know of any corrections / changes. If you aren't on this list and would
like to be, please send me your address!
