Hi Kirsteen
Apologies, I was thinking ahead. Yes we do monitor for students in Social Class (NE-SEC 4.5.6.7) and Low Participation Neighbourhoods. I'll find out the details and let you know. Not for staff.
Pamela

Hi Pamela
I'm aware of that, but my instructions are to consider this as a measure of good practice and was just wondering if anyone else had dipped a toe in yet :)

Hi there
We don't have to do this according to the Act. It is only a specified group of Public Sector bodies who do have to address this (if it is approved, of course,) on a strategic level e.g. the Local Autoritied in their Community Plans.

Hi all
Can I ask what everyone is doing regarding socio-economic status? Are you including this within your single equality scheme (if you have one)? Do you monitor this in any organised way - if so, how? Do you use post codes and how useful do you find this? Do you monitor staff and students? Progression of students? Is this something you are starting to do and if so, what are you first steps?
