Dear Ann
We contract with MarshallACM in London to provide an internet based training for all staff and Board. Whilst this in itself is not totally adequate in development terms it has a variety of advantages.
1. It can be completed 24/7
2. Learning materials are updated by MACM
3. Administrators have access to reports, which indicate who has logged on and completed the module(s) - this can then be fed back to managers.
4. There are other informative links on the site
5. the approach allows total coverage in a way that is not possible f2f in particular times and places.

The materials and quizzes have generally been very well received

Dear all
I am currently working with the University of Brighton to research options
for equality and diversity support and development activities/tools for the
Board of Governors, senior staff and managers.
Does anyone have experiences or information that you could share on how you
have approached this in your institutions? Ie what have you done and how
has this been received? Can you recommend good speakers or facilitators for
this level of engagement? Is there anything that you would not recommend!?
Have you come across practice or initiatives from other sectors that might
be helpful?
Thanks in advance
Ann Allcock
