Mel on page 4 of the document it says the following:
'It is not advisable to carry out visits to Muslim customers around the
time that they will be preparing to end the fast (Iftar). This year it
will
between approximately 8.00 PM and 7.00 PM.'
The time here needs to be changed, not that carrying out visits is any
thing we routinely do.

Subject: Best practice during Ramadan
Hi
I woud appreciate any good practice you might be able to share with me
with regard to muslim students during Ramadan. This year Ramadan will
co-incide with our welcome programme for new postgraduate students, and
normally during this period we offer welcome lunches and get togethers
with students and staff.
I have suggested that rather than a welcome lunch, and evening meal is
offered (preferably not serving alcohol)and that students should be
asked to provide details of any specific dietary requirements. Would
this be sufficient, or is there any better practice we could follow?
Regards
