Dear All
For my sins, I'm reviewing the content of our monitoring forms and the
system used for processing the data! Would anyone be willing to share how
you collect monitoring information from job applicants?
I'm looking at 3 specific areas:
1) When a job applicant returns a completed paper equality monitoring form,
how do you get the information from it? e.g. do you have a person who
manually inputs data or do you use a scanner of some description?
2) If you have a scanning solution, does it do character recognition, to
pick up names & handwritten details, or just an optical mark reader that
scans filled-in boxes?
3) I'm also interested in finding out how other HEIs track people from job
applicant to short-listed to candidate to appointed stage, to see if we can
improve our current system.
On or off - line responses welcomed.
Many thanks
Siobhan
