Equal Opportunities Adviser (Part-Time)
REGISTRAR’S DEPARTMENT
Ref: AH0318
Applications are invited for this new part-time post to support the
Director in implementing our Equal Opportunities Strategy and related
policies. Working as part of a small team, you will provide a
professional and confidential service to staff, students and visitors on
equality and diversity matters. You will therefore need to demonstrate
a commitment to EO and customer care, together with experience of
dealing with individuals at all levels.
Key areas of work will include providing advice, information and support
on EO issues; responsibility for the University’s anti-harassment work;
assisting in the implementation of equality policies and promotion of
best practice to ensure that equality targets are met.
Hours of work will be 15.5 per week (work pattern negotiable). Salary
range £21,125 to £27,339 per annum (reduced pro rata) within grade 2 of
the scales for Administrative, Computing and Library staff.
