I was wondering whether you had trade union representation on any of your equality committees?
We have two main ones here at Brunel. A joint Equal opportunities and HR committee, which is chaired by our vice-chancellor. We discuss as the name suggests diversity and HR issues, legislative updates, initiatives we would like to take forward, as well as a high level overview of Athena Swan activities.
We also have an equality strategy group, which focuses on taking our diversity strategy, objectives and action plan forward. This is chaired by our pro-vice chancellor for diversity and staff development.
Currently we do not have union representation on either of these groups.
Kind Regards
