Dear Bertille
I would definitely say that there is value in developing and delivering
a women only programme, our equality data last year showed an
under-representation both across support and academic areas. I am
currently in discussion with the School's Gender Institute and Gender
Equality Forum, with a view to moving forward with this particular
agenda. One of the areas I am reviewing is to develop is a women's
programme whether in house or in collaboration with external
stakeholders. I have had an discussion with Gary Loake around this
subject a few weeks ago. I would welcome if the ECU developed such a
programme and would be happy to part of any discussion around this area.
Kind Regards
Ferhat

Subject: Evidence to support a Women into leadership programme
Dear Colleagues,
We are trying to set a Women into leadership programme to address the
under-representation of women at senior grades.
I have been asked to find out some evidence on the value of a women only
programme and whether this is something female staff would
prefer/welcome.
If you have any information or research on this it would welcomed.
Best regards
Bertille
