Due to maternity leave, we have an opportunity for someone to join our team of three staff on a temporary basis as Equalities Co-ordinator.
You will play a key role in translating the College's equality and diversity policy commitments into everyday practice which includes:
. Leading on the implementation of equality and diversity policies
. Delivering a programme of College-wide equalities training
. Lead on specific projects and overseeing staff networks and positive
action measures
. Analysing data and producing reports to support equalities' policies and
initiatives
. Providing advice to staff and students on equalities issues
We are looking for an individual who has strong communication and analytical skills and a sound awareness of equality and diversity issues. You will be capable of managing a varied workload, and have good presentation and report-writing skills.
The post is offered on a full-time temporary basis for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. We are willing to consider flexible working arrangements.
Salary is within the Grade 6 scale, currently £32,917 - £38,855 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
