I circulated this message back in April and received 2 responses (many thanks to the University of Warwick and University of Essex.) I wondered whether anyone else could provide further guidance in relation to this query:
We are in the process of reviewing our Dignity at Work policy, which currently deals with complaints made against staff by either staff members or students.
We are considering changing this so student complaints of bullying/ harassment against staff are addressed through a different route - either the student complaints procedure or a separate procedure.
It would be helpful to know what procedures other institutions use to deal with complaints of this kind, and if they are dealt with by a separate procedure, would any institutions be willing to share these?
