Hi Marie,
We are also developing our SES, we won a tender from the department of
health to be a 'pilot learning site for developing a SES'. I would be
happy to discuss with you (off line) our experiences and a framework.
Although we are a Primary Care Trust and our contents would differ but
not our context, legal or otherwise.
Kind regards,
Dipen

Subject: Single Equality Scheme
Hi All:
We are working on developing a single equality scheme which would not
only include disability, gender and race but also look at other areas
including age, sexual orientation and religion and belief. Just
wondering if anyone is willing to discuss offline their experience in
developing the SES at their university (words of wisdom and advice would
be appreciated :-)) which included all six of those areas.
As well, when the DES was drafted here, they used a working group with
staff and students representatives and I want to use the same structure
here but am concerned about having a workable number on the working
group and again would like to talk to anyone on what approaches you've
used (or are thinking about using if you are in the process of
developing a SES)
Thanks
Marie
