Welcome to Bethan Morgan who joins the e-seminar today. You can access Bethan's publications
at:

Bethan is a Teaching Associate with the Schools University Partnership in Educational Research
(SUPER). Prior to this, she taught for seventeen years in 11-18 secondary schools as teacher and
Head of Department (English) before joining the Faculty as a research student. Her current
teaching and research interests focus on classroom teaching and learning, particularly in the area
of pupil consultation and 'pupil voice'. Both her MPhil and ESRC funded PhD projects were linked
to the ESRC/TLRP Consulting Pupils about Teaching and Learning Network (directed by Professor
Jean Rudduck). Data from both projects is featured in Rudduck, J & McIntyre, D (2007) Improving
Learning through Consulting Pupils, London: Routledge. Bethan has compiled a bibliography for
the late Professor Donald McIntyre, her MPhil and PhD supervisor, and copies are available from
her upon request.
Dear Bethan - delighted that you have joined in the e-seminar. I was reviewing 'Improving
Learning through Consulting Pupils' with my masters group this evening and they were clearly
excited by the ideas. You can access the archives of the e-seminars at:

and the March 2008 contributions at:

Looking forward to sharing your thoughts in the existing threads or in one you might like to begin
yourself.
Warm regards,
Jack.
