Hi Alex, I think this is a good idea, it would be worth doing before
November though as I guess most of us are embarking on the process.

Subject: Equality Impact Assessment
Dear colleagues
Since sharing our Equality Impact Assessment Handbook with the list we
have had a number of emails and calls asking for further details or
permission to crib bits. This leads me to wonder if there would be any
interest in the University of Portsmouth delivering a one-day workshop
on EIA in practice?
It could include examples of preliminary and full impact assessments
undertaken here, a demonstration of the database we have developed to
co-ordinate and report on the process, information on how our scrutiny
panels are working and an opportunity for sharing practice across the
sector.
There would be a cost to cover refreshments and copies of an updated
Handbook.
Is this a good idea and would November be too late?
Regards
Alex
