Dear Liz,
We'll miss that lovely Scottish burr and the 1K watt smile - all the very
best for your future.

Dear colleagues
With apologies for cross posting
I write to let you know that I will be leaving the ECU later this month.
Over the last two and a half years I have really enjoyed working with my
colleagues in ECU and with colleagues in the sector and I have loved my
time in London: but I feel it is time now to go back to my permanent
home in Edinburgh and renew the connections with my life north of the
border, for a while at least.
After I leave, Dr Sue Cavanagh will be leading the disability and age
teams, with Shelly Smith continuing with her work as Senior Policy
Officer (Age).
I am very happy to say that I will continue to do occasional work with
ECU in an associate capacity, as and when appropriate, and I am looking
forward to contributing to this coming year's programme of work.
It has been a pleasure to work with you all and many thanks for your
continued support for what we do.
With very good wishes for 2007
Liz Sutherland
