Clare,
Not sure what internet searches you've made but my first port of call is the
BBC Religion site. Here's the link to the pages on Rastafari.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/rastafari/index.shtml
There aren't huge amounts out there regarding dress. I do know the
Rastafarian hat is called a "Crown" and has religious significance; the
knitted version is usually coloured red, yellow and green, the colour of the
Ethiopian flag. Women engaged in prayer must cover their hair; to fail to do
so is deemed to be an insult to her husband and family.
Hope this helps

Dear All
Could anyone point me in the direction of information about the religious
requirements of rastafarianism, particularly regarding dress issues and any
rules regarding hats/head covering?
Many thanks
