The Response rate for our recruitment monitoring has
dropped by 10 percent this year, across all staff
groupings. The average is now only 76%; academic and
research response is 69%.
I would like to get an idea of how this compares at other
universities, and whether you have experienced a similar
drop. One suggestion has been e-mail cvs for academic
posts by-passing application procedures. If this is so, we
ought to find a way round it. But I don't think it counts
for the whole drop. Any thoughts?
