Dear colleagues,
I understand that the CRE recently published a report on anti-Irish
discrimination in the UK that recommended (amongst other things)
that the Irish should be treated as a distinct ethnic group in Equal
Opps monitoring exercises etc. As a colleague here has asked
me to raise this locally, I am interested to know whether other
universities have taken the CRE's recommendations on board and
any arguments that proved useful in getting this agreed.
