Yes, I have trained groups consisting solely of white male managers -
like you, by default, either because they made up the whole group or
they were the only ones the organisation thought needed to be sent on
EO training. For me the biggest issue with such groups (and other
differently homogeneous groups) is avoiding talking about 'they/them'
all the time, it can be hard to get the group away from focussing on
difference because they feel freer to generalise. Give me a mixed
bunch any day, plus a groundrule for respectful and considerate use
of language, then at least people think about what they are saying
for at least one day!
