Hi Saema,
Our University held an event in March, entitled 'Celebrating Diversity Promoting Wellbeing'. It was a week-long event during which we coordinated a variety of workshops relating to wellbeing and/or diversity and invited various organisations that related to wellbeing and/or diversity to attend an exhibition at the University over 2 days. Both staff and students were invited to the event, and to take part in the workshops.
Involvement was welcomed by all, and several faculties and departments were keen to get involved. We also approached relevant student societies, most of which were keen to get involved with the exhibition, and some provided workshops. For some information on the highlights and content of the event, please see http://www2.bcu.ac.uk/wellbeing/events and go to 2009/10 events.
If you would like to discuss our event further, please feel free to give me a call.
Kind regards,
Becky Pickering

Subject: Diversity Event
Dear Colleagues,
We are looking at organising a Diversity Event. Would be keen to get ideas from you if you have organised one at your institution - what was the content of the event? Was this over one day, week etc? Did you have input from Schools and Departments across your institution?
Kind Regards,
