Dear all
I have just had a call from a contact at Access to Work NW. They have informed me that Access to Work has created a list of equipment that they no longer consider to be disability related, and will expect employers to provide without Access to Work contribution. I have asked for the full list, and my contact is seeking guidance about whether they can release this, but I have been told it includes the following:
- Chairs
- Desks - including electric height adjustable
- Dragon software (apparently as this is now marketed as mainstream, they no longer feel it is assistive technology)
Has anyone else heard this, or got any further information?
Thanks
Louise
