Dear Gerry,
Our HR department have carried an IA on this policy and it came out as
low impact. As the policy has only recently been implemented we do not
have sufficient data to identify any differential impact on particular
groups. On a different area, I am interested to know how different
equality groups faired on your IA on your redundancy policy/procedure.
Regards
Anne

Subject: Information requested for EIA on Alcohol, Drug and Substance
Abuse policy for staff
Hello,
Has anyone recently undertaken an EIA in relation to a Alcohol, Drug and
Substance Abuse policy for staff. If so, I would be really grateful if
anyone has any information/evidence to suggest that the differing
equality groups have different needs, experiences, issues and priorities
in relation to the intended outcomes of this policy? Any research
undertaken? Any useful outcomes and resolutions identified?
Many thanks in advance.
Gerry
