Hi Sarah,
I would be happy to share the tool (off-line)that I have developed and
examples (although health related). The tool additionally consists of a
'risk' register and an action plan, this is the formal process all
managers are likely to be familiar with and it is easier to get their
'buy-in' with something that they know about and have used. There is
also a tick box in our Freedom of Information front sheets for Eqia,
that insists on an Eqia before the FOI is published.
EqIA is seen as a 'foreign' concept and as an add on to their work
rather than a part of their work.
Kind regards,
Dipen

Subject: EqIA e-tool
Dear All
We recently purchased the Marshall ACM EqIA e-tool, and are piloting it
in HR.
I have started meeting with people from Student Support, but it is
proving
difficult to gain support for any kind of formal process. I feel that if
I had an
example of an EqIA to show them I would have more success. Does anybody
else use the MArshall package, and would you be willing to share an
example
of a completed EqIA?
Many thanks in anticipation.
