Subject: Dignity at Work Conference - 16 October 2008
Please find attached details of an event in which you may be interested.
Professor Charlotte Rayner (Portsmouth University), an internationally
recognized expert in bullying and harassment issues is delivering the
keynote address, and there is an excellent line up of other speakers, so
it should be a very worthwhile event for those of you interested in addressing dignity at work issues. Please feel free to pass on the details to other colleagues who may be interested within your own institution.
Following last year's successful Dignity at Work conference, a follow up
event has been organised to enable participants to actively engage with
the issues raised. Dignity at Work: Developing Effective Strategies for
Tackling Bullying and Harassment will be held on Thursday, 16 October 2008
at Woburn House, Tavistock Place, London.
Comments from delegates attending the last conference included the
following:
* "I think it was an excellent conference - one of the most
useful, relevant and enjoyable that I have ever been to. Well
done!"
* "An excellent day, packed full of useful and practical
information."
* "A very clear focus and a lot of new thinking"
Full details of the programme and a booking form are attached. The fee
for the day is: £299, including full documentation, all refreshments and
lunch.
If you are not able to attend, the documeation from the conference is
available on request at a cost of £50.
Best wishes
