Happy new year! Here's a quick progress report on some of this year's key publications relating to age and disability:
We expect our ECU publication on age stereotyping, New Age Thinking, to be available electronically from our website in the third week of January, and to be available in print no later than the end of January.
The Duty to Promote Disability Equality: Statutory Code of Practice - England and Wales can be downloaded free of charge from the Disability Rights Commission's website at http://www.drc.org.uk/businessandservices/publicsectordutycodes.asp
Hard copies of the Code, and alternative formats, can be obtained from The Stationery Office (quoting ISBN 0 11 703605 6), but a charge of £15 per copy will be made, along with a £3.75 handling fee. The Stationery Office can be contacted at

The DRC's Code of Practice on the Disability Equality Duty (Scotland) is currently only available to be downloaded from the web link above, but is likely to be printed in February.
