Hi Fehmeeda,
We are planning to use Marshall ACM e-learning package and just in the process of signing up. At least 25 other HEI's are also using this. I think that the benefits of this are
*
that it is sector specific
*
the programme is kept up to date and relevant
*
the costs are reasonable
*
good people to work with
*
the package is customized and branded
*
you can link to your own internal policies and documents
*
you can keep track of users but the administration burden is very low.
Have a look especially at http://www.marshallacm.co.uk/clientcase.htm <http://www.marshallacm.co.uk/clientcase.htm> and http://www.marshallacm.co.uk/services.htm <http://www.marshallacm.co.uk/services.htm> as well as the Guardian article on using for students

Subject: Equality and Diversity Training
Dear Colleagues,
I hope you are all well.
We are in the process of reviewing our provision for equality and diversity training. Currently, we run internal courses in diversity and fair recruitment and selection and have developed a Respect for People Diversity Workbook based training programme for all staff (through the Grass Roots Group). We have managed to get around 850 staff to successfully participate in this programme and will continue to increase participation rates.
I was wondering if colleagues had had any particularly good experiences of on-line diversity training and also if they were of any excellent diversity trainers?
Any thoughts/ideas would be much appreciated!
With all best wishes
Fehmeeda Riaz
