The Association of Managers of Student Services in Higher Education
brings together those who have responsibility for the management or
co-ordination of a range of learner support and guidance services for
students in UK higher education institutions. Its mission is to enhance
the student experience by informing and supporting student services
professionals in their work, and by promoting policy change and
development in the UK higher education sector.
AMOSSHE has over 400 members, representing 134 member institutions.
This year AMOSSHE is opening its Annual Conference to non-AMOSSHE
members.
The conference will focus on current and expected changes in higher
education and their implications for high quality student service
delivery. The programme includes representatives of sector-wide
organisations, including the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for
Higher Education, the Office for Fair Access, DfES, HEFCE National
Disability Team and UKCOSA.
This event will provide an excellent opportunity for professional
development and networking for colleagues who have an interest in
enhancing the student experience in higher education.
