Dear Dorcas (and colleagues)
I will reply to you off list with a few suggested contacts for you but meantime if anyone is replying to Dorcas and doesn't mind copying me into their reply I would be really grateful for the information. It helps me build my own understanding of who is doing what and where in this important area.
Im also happy to talk to/hear from any members of the list who have queries in this area.
Best wishes
Liz

Subject: Commitment when employees become disabled
Dear colleagues,
We are currently looking at producing a document (to be published on our website) outlining our commitment when employees
become disabled to make every effort to ensure they stay in employment. The aim of this document will be to act as support
for employees and line managers supporting employees to make sure they know that, should an employee become disabled, or if
an employee's existing disability becomes worse, there is a mechanism in place for the university to consider all the
options.
I would be interested to hear from anyone whose institution already has something similar in place.
Many thanks
Regards
Dorcas
