Dear Colleagues,
We will be implementing the Hay Job Evaluation Scheme for our academic staff. Has
anybody out there carried out an impact assessment of the job evaluation scheme?
We are very confident that the scheme is completely impartial and the focus is
evaluating the job and is not related to the person. Additionally, there will be groups of
staff who are trained as evaluators. We have emphasised that it is important that the
group trained as evaluators reflect the diversity of our staff, representing a good mix
by gender, disability, age, grade of post and schools in which posts are located in
order to demonstrate that the process is being applied fairly.
Any advice would be most welcome!
With best wishes
Fehmeeda
