Dear Fahmeeda
We have an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)which is provided by an
external company and has been in operation for at least last 5/6
years.Face-to face and telephone counselling in different languages is
available 24 hours everyday throughout the year to University staff, their
family, partner and those close to them .This service is totally confidential
and individuals are allowed up to a maximum of 6 sessions(in exceptional
circumstances additional sessions can be made available). My understanding is
that this service is pretty well used.Trust this is helpful.
Best wishes
