Dear Susanna,
Here at KCL we have 4 staff in the Equality and Diversity Department,
though two are primarily for disability support. Apart from me, we have
an administrator, who also deals with the students with disabilities
appointments, etc., so I am the only one with a remit to cover all EO
policy issues. We deal with both staff and student equalities issues
and are not based in HR. We also have a large involvement in staff EO
training.
There are over 5,000 staff here and over 19,000 students.
Regards,
Virginia
