My dearest colleagues,
It is with the utmost sadness that I would like to inform you that I will be
finally leaving the ECU on Thursday, February 19th.
Though I will desperately miss you all and my good colleagues at the ECU and
UUK, I aim to carry on working with and for you in the Sector, in my next
employment, whose contact details I will make available to you as soon as I
can.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the hard,
sometimes distressing, work that we have undertaken together, over the last
three years or so, since I first joined the ECU. Please be encouraged to
keep the good faith in our commitment, as yet more is being expected from
us, as we enter the implementation stage of the RRAA requirements.
Let us also continue to count on our sum-total for it will remain our best
way forward on our long journey, through which I will always appreciate your
company and I sincerely hope, you mine.
Lastly, to all those of you who will be in London on Thursday afternoon,
February 19th, you will be most welcome to join me and other colleagues, at
UUK (Tavistock Square) for some farewell drinks and some buffet comistables.
It would be most wonderful to see all those of you who can make it. We start
at 4.00 PM and all you need to do is present yourself at the UUK Reception
desk and you will be pointed in the right direction.
I look forward to seeing you then.
Warmest regards
Mannie.
