Middlesex University has produced, and now updated it's "employing
disabled people" guidance, which will shortly be on our webbsite. Also,
the ECU has produced a good guidance booklet, also called "employing
disabled people."
We too have the symbol, though personally, speaking as a disabled
person, I have no faith in it at all, and we only have it so as to keep
disability on the agenda. Others may, of course, disagree.
Susanna.

Subject: Re: Measures to Attract Disabled Staff
Hi
We were awarded the Two Ticks Symbol last year. We put our policy
statement and information for disabled staff on our Equal Opportunities
web pages. Our Personnel Department would have details of our action
plan etc if you want to contact them directly.
