I would like to highlight that there is now a legal definition of harassment which was introduced in the Employment Equality Regulations under the Sexual Orientation/Religion/belief regulations.

Subject: harassment and bullying policy/contacts
Has anyone got a system for informal contacts for H and B? We have and I
am reviewing the effectiveness/planning more training. Our scheme has
been in operation for about six months
I would very much like to hear from anyone who has a 'role description'
for such contacts (who are volunteers in our case) and possibly a method
of selection of volunteers.
also if you have any suggestions for a more user-friendly name I would be
very interested!
In case it helps I have attached our Policy
Best wishes
Penny
