I have no idea if it happens here but I will ask now. I don't think this is
effected by the new legislation but I do think it is a bad idea.
International students, in particular, of other faiths may interpret this as
an attempt to convert them and be upset by this. Home students of other
faiths or none might also feel that it is an unwanted intrusion. The most I
am inclined to think is reasonable is a notice to the effect that a
Christian organisation has donated free bibles and anyone who wants one can
obtain a copy from reception.
