Dear All,
As some of you will know, Ferhat Nazir, who we appointed to the Equal
Opportunity role early this year, is having to relocate away from this area.
Ferhat had brought a great deal of very useful expertise, which we will
sorely miss, and she had also demonstrated her skills in promoting the equal
opportunities agenda. While we are very disappointed that she has had to
leave us, our loss will certainly be some other organisation's gain! We
wish her every success for the future.
So we now have an opportunity for someone looking to work in the equal
opportunities area here at Newcastle. We are prepared to be flexible
regarding hours, etc. for a candidate with the right experience, knowledge
and skills, so please let me know if you are interested, or if you know
anyone who might be! We will also consider secondment arrangements.
Finally, during the period between Ferhat's departure and the appointment of
her replacement, I shall be covering the equal opps area, so please send any
