The one week on-line conference of the international network for educational
transformation (iNet) begins tomorrow (3-11 March) and you can see the
details and logon at:
http://www.ssat-inet.net/
This conference is focusing on the redesign of schooling for the 21st
century. I'm thinking that our practitioner-research has important
implications for educational transformation and that it would be good to
explore these in the conference. Hope to meet you in this iNet forum this
coming week.
Responding to Sarah's point about this e-seminar convenor's space. I'd like
to keep its present form as a space where I can just send round brief notes
and introduce people as I add them to the e-seminar list of participants.
I like the freedom permitted by the e-seminar space to us all and I do hope
that you will create new threads to meet your interests.
My own excitement about this coming month's conversations is that they could
include contributions of e-seminar participants to the Cultures in
Resistance Conference in Manchester 18-20 March, to AERA in New York 24-28
March and to the International Conference of Teacher Research in New York,
28-29 March. These are likely to produce very significant contributions to
all three of our existing threads.
Love Jack.
