Dear Alan and Everyone,
Thank you for your inspiring response. Sometimes pain can double us up - I find that it doubles
my commitment to be an educator and to try out new ways to develop what I can do as a mentor.
Your image with the paper on Jack's video clip has helped me visualise a conceptualisation of what
is occuring and visualisation is a leap forward in how I can accommodate this progressive disease.
Visualisation is another form of multi media and it enables me to play creatively with possibilities.
You may be interested in how visualisation enabled me to overcome a severe lower back condition
in my 30s. In 1987 I was told that I would never be able to work even part time as a teacher again!
Jack encouraged me to write about how I used visualisation for publication in Career Development.
You can if it should interest you access my publication in the Sarah's Publication section on TR.net
One of the new moves into flexibility arose when I developed my 3 websites and another when I'd
discovered the delights of KEEP Toolkit templates for assisting teachers and students to represent
their knowledge. I am still discovering how to use KEEP and I'll try out a new approach here soon.
I am so sorry you couldn't access my postings through your home computer yesterday. I'm looking
forward to having feedback on the standards of judgement I am developing for using multi media.
The paper, Powerpoint and review (using new standards) are at http://www.TeacherResearch.net
Warm regards to All,
Sarah
