Hi There,
As part of my CTTLS I'm researching different tools of initial assessments for
ESOL learners with poor or no literacy skills in L1. So far I think that the tooks
do not cater for the individual's abilities. The ones we are using in our adult
college is almost a box ticking tool that assesses what the learner can do not
so much what the leraner can do. Any ideas of good initial assessments for
this type of learners?
