Dear Pip and all - Celebrations will continue up to Jocelyn's
graduation in December and then some! Jocelyn's thesis should be
available electronically by the 25th November and I'll send a note to
say when you can access it with the url to share with the social work
and nursing lecturers at your local polytechnic.
Today's good news is that the first issue of the Electronic Journal of
Living Theories can now be accessed with Jean's foreword from:
http://ejolts.net/drupal/index.php (just click on the current issue)
or go directly to this first issue at:
http://ejolts.net/drupal/current
(The papers are all available in pdf format and Branko hopes to make
the html versions available in a week or so).
Do please have a read of Jean's foreword at http://ejolts.net/drupal/node/85
(click on the pdf version). I think you'll feel inspired to make
your own contribution to EJOLTS with your explanations of your
educational influences.
Congratulations to Moira and the members of the editorial and review
boards who have contributed to the transparent review process. Je Kan
is publicising the launch in the Far East and is returning to Fukuoka
University next week after a most successful series of workshops on
action research in Thailand. Je Kan has been encouraging practitioner-
researchers to make public their narratives of their educational
influences in learning.
Love Jack.
