Hi Jayne,
When we have had a student who has exceeded DSA and ALF funding combined,
the College usually makes up the difference. This has some pitfalls
depending on what the needs are and how we pay for them (i.e support
workers) but it means that the student is fully supported.
An idea for their next year might be to look into the Snowdon Award scheme?
I know you have to apply quite early so may not be an option for this year
of study, but certainly for subsequent studies this may be of use.
Hope this helps!
Laura King,
Disability Team,
Goldsmiths.
