With Bernie's latest posting I'm just recalling how impressed I felt at the doctoral viva as Bernie
responded to the examiners' questions on her emerging living theory of a practice of social justice in
realising the right of traveller children to educational equality (see http://www.jeanmcniff.com/
bernieabstract.html for Bernie's thesis ). Researching such contributions to enhancing the flow of
social justice, as Bernie has done, is connected in my mind with developing understandings of world
leading standards of judgment in creating a world of educational quality.
Here is something I'd like to offer in terms of what I'm seeing as the gifts and talents of others as
they live their values of humanity in relationship. I'm also offering this as a celebration of the
qualities of humanity I believe we may be hoping to share with family and friends at this time of year.
I think you will see these qualities in the video-clips at:
http://www.jackwhitehead.com/jack/jw211206esem.htm
I think you may understand something of the meanings of an Ubuntu way of being through
identifying with the quality of relationship Eden expresses with Alan in the video-clip of a
conversation on Alan's preparation for a radio interview earlier this month on Inclusionality. I
particularly like Barry's point about frailty and standards of judgment as he responds to the clip of
Eden and Alan.
Love Jack.
