Hello everyone
Celia Roberts has a question:
"Hi James,
I wonder if your ESOL research network would be interested in helping me
find out how many employers are requiring ESOL speakers seeking
promotion to
pass Level 1 (or indeed other levels) before they will be considered? Or
is
this too specific? We are working in a food company on emg promotion at
the
moment and the S for L tests are now required to apply for job of team
leader."
I don't think this is too specific for the ESOL-Research list. It's a
good question, and the answers will help us see what sort of currency
the S for L exams actually have. If anyone has any information on this
question, or wants to find out more about the research Celia is doing,
just reply to the list.
Best wishes to all
James
