Dear All
You may have noticed that my draft symposium paper has recently been removed at
http://wwwactionresearch.net I apologise for this necessary move, on legal advice.
Similarly I will not be presenting my joint paper with Reverend Je Kan Adler-Collins.
I am grateful to my co-presenters for their understanding and kind forbearance ...
I must formally dissociate myself from any detrimental comments in any paper which
may be given at BERA 2004, with regard to my employment at the University of Bath.
This includes the draft paper posted by Jack which alludes to our private discussion
in his agreed role as an 'AUT friend'. His final version will no doubt omit his allusion.
Many of us have found inspiration in Jack's own writings, not least The Growth of
Educational Knowledge. I want to offer a public Thank You to Jack for his stalwart
support over many years, and I share his expressed delight at the prospect of a
happy, productive future collaboration as we work in adjoining universities in Bath.
I am very much looking forward to presenting two papers at the BERA Conference:
Action research mentoring for supporting professional development of teachers as
learners: a growth of understanding in Croatian and English educational contexts.
How do I perceive changes in educational practice across Japan engendered by
action research and mentoring?
Hoping to see you in Manchester very soon,
Warm regards,
Sarah
