Hi everyone!
I'm Rebecca, a final year English Language student at Newcastle University, and I'm currently conducting research for my dissertation for which Prof. Martha Young Scholten is my supervisor.
My work is focusing on the views and attitudes of and towards ESOL teachers, both native and non-native English speaking. The literature I've read in preparation for my own research has been fascinating and I intend to compare my results to similar studies conducted in the past in my writing. My research is comprised of questionnaires and interviews, the latter I am conducting this week with other members of the Newcastle University faculty.
Following on from this - I am in need of participants to complete these questionnaires, please! I have two; one for native English speaking teachers and the other for non-native English speaking teachers. It is required that you have taught English in the UK in order to complete them. Both are very similar, give or take a few questions. If you complete the relevant questionnaire, your identity will be kept anonymous; it will not ask for your name, age, gender or ethnicity. I just want to hear about your experiences, good or bad!
Please find the links below to each of the questionnaires. (I couldn't seem to add a hyperlink, but copying and pasting the web address works!) I imagine that they will take no more than around 15 minutes to complete. My dissertation is due 2nd May so the sooner anyone can fill it in, the better. If you have any questions about the questionnaires or my research and dissertation, please feel free to get in touch! (Or if you experience any issues accessing the links, please let me know too!)

Many thanks in advance, I really appreciate any help I may receive!
Kind regards,
Rebecca Doneghan
