Dear all,
My name is Lauren, I am currently doing a research project at the University of Glasgow. I am interviewing volunteer ESOL teachers and hoped that if you find this area of reasearch to be of value, you could forward this message to any volunteer teachers that you know.
The study is looking into the perspectives and motivations of volunteer teachers in the UK with a particular focus on ESOL provision for people who are refugees or asylum seekers. It would consist of a recorded telephone or Skype interview of up to an hour. Please get in touch with me if you are interested in taking part. The study is open for anyone who has volunteered teaching English in the UK, with any amount of experience. If you or any potential participants have any questions just let me know, I’d be happy to provide more information. My email address is [log in to unmask] .
Thank you for your time,
All the best,
Lauren
