3) e-Exams Symposium (Melbourne, Australia).
*** Last day to register 18 Nov ***
Education institutions now face significant choices in how examinations will be modernised. This will lead to substantial investment over the medium term and will certainly establish the pedagogic framework for higher stakes assessment for years to come - this is your opportunity to engage in the conversation and to be informed for effective decision making for secure, scalable, authentic e-exams.
The e-Exams Symposium will be held face to face on Saturday 24 November 2018 in Melbourne, Australia.
Professor Geoff Crisp, PVC(E) UNSW will chair the proceedings - Geoff is well known for his work on e-Assessment.
Sessions include:
- Head of e-Learning Service at Alpen-Adria University, Klagenfurt, Austria, a university with 40% uptake of e-exams.
- Senior specialist in e-exams at the national Matriculation Examinations Board of Finland speaking about the roll out of their national e-exams project.
- Student panel exploring their experiences of e-Exams.
- Discussions will also explore e-exams pedagogy and assessment design, technology, logistics, robustness, security issues and more!
An Australian national project that saw development of an authentic, robust, e-exams platform and 20 trials across multiple university partners will be discussed.
All education sectors are welcome.
This symposium is running just prior to the ASCILITE2018 conference - why not do two Ed Tech events in the one trip!?
