Dear Kathryn,
Clark and Paran was a replication of an earlier study in the US, Mahboob et al., which is referenced in the paper. I don’t know if anyone has done anything similar recently but have a look at Silvana Richardson’s IATEFL plenary at IATEFL 2017 (I think); it’s on the iatefl website (www.iatefl.org ) and I don’t think you need to be an IATEFL member to watch it (though I may be wrong).
Something else you could do is go to Google Scholar and see who has cited Clark and Paran 2007 and check those references.

Hi
I'm hoping someone can help, please. I'm looking for research on discrimination against non-native speaker teachers or preference towards native speakers in ESOL or EFL in the UK but almost everything I find has been done abroad. Does anyone know if the research by Clark and Paran in 2007 (The employability of non-native-speaker teachers of EFL: A UK survey. System, 35(4), pp.407-430) was replicated or built on? Something must have been done in the last eleven years but I can't find anything!
Many thanks in advance,
Kathryn
