I’d be interested to know whether anyone else has had strange results with the Trinity L2 reading this year. I carefully screened my L2 class for each module and was pleasantly surprised to hit 100% pass rate in both S&L and Writing. It was then a bit of a shock to get a pass rate of 0% for reading, especially as I had used Trinity past papers for diagnostics and mocks and was expecting at least half to be get very comfortable passes. I asked for a re-mark and understand that sampled papers did not lead to a change in marks, although it’s unclear whether any L2 papers were actually sampled (I’m hourly paid and not at the same college this year). Any ideas what could have gone wrong?
