Dear All,
The June 2015 issue of the Educational Journal of Living Theories can now be accessed freely from
http://ejolts.net/current .
It includes a video and notes for the posthumous award of the Diploma of Education, from the University of Bath, to Sally Cartwright. Sally’s action research with her students has inspired many teacher-researchers around Bath and beyond. I also think you might find inspiring Jocelyn Romero Demirbag’s paper on ‘Gifts of the doctoral process’, in which she recognises herself as a doctor educator.
I know that some members of our practitioner-researcher forum are also members of the British Educational Research Association. BERA have started a BERAblog and here is a posting I’ve submitted that draws attention to the educational knowledge being created by practitioner-researchers as distinct from the education knowledge being created by education researchers - see:
http://www.actionresearch.net/writings/jack/jwberablogtheory.pdf
If you can I do hope that you will respond to the BERAblog with your own critical evaluations, either in the BERAblog or in our practitioner-researcher forum.
Love Jack.
