Hi, I'm still confused and concerned about this. I don't understand the post below - what does the writer refer to when she says there will only be two providers? Providers of what?
Here is the quote:

I'm an ESOL tutor. Some of my students have asked what exam they need to take for applications for ILR and Citizenship. I am still not sure whether they can use, for example, an ESB exam.
ESB are apparently taking legal advice, which suggests they are worried their qualifications are possibly invalid.
